Random black bars in After Effects when tracking Cinema 4D camera
on Sep 19, 2019 at 5:57:22 pm

I've tried saving an aec file from Cinema 4D for the first time yesterday. It worked perfectly and I got all the camera information I needed to be able to track my 2D text from After Effects onto the 3D camera from Cinema.

Only weird thing I found out a couple of hours ago is that on certain frames random black, small bars appears flickering on the screen. At first I didn't know why, but when I turned off the imported camera it disappeared. Also found out that it only appears on the different text comps I've copied the tracking information to.

Any suggestions for what I can do? I'm really clueless as to why this is happening.

It might be "z-fighting."

Do you have multiple 3D layers at the same depth?
