How to do statistical motion graphics?

Hello. I´m currently working on a documentary project, and I´ve been wanting to add some statistical motion graphics, kind of like this:





I presume I have to have some sort of document and link it up somehow. Anyway, I´d appreciate if someone could help. Thanks.

I'm guessing that's a specific software.

To link data into AE, first we need to know what kind of data and how its presented.

Yes! AE's latest versions have had some really neat data-driven graphics tools added to them. More info here: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/data-driven-animations.html
