What's the best option in AE to track or map text or a picture for a video clip where the camera first dollyin and then dolly out?

My client's video footage has the talent sitting in a chair holding a white canvas board. The camera slowly dolly into the board and then slowly dolly out. During the slow camera moves the client wants text to be mapped/tracked onto the white canvas board. I've tried 3D tracker camera using the target points, but what I'm getting is not the results they want. The text doesn't track well on the board. Should I consider a mapping option or refine the tracking options. I also need to work in a few pictures in logo later on. But first I need to get the text to look like it's actually printed on the canvas.

Try Mocha, the planar tracker in AE -- it ought to do the trick.
