Particles interaction (See video)

Anyone has an idea on how he's making the particles from different emitters interact with one another, I'm guessing he is using trapcode particular
but I really don't understand how he is doing it

Thanks!

Hi. Here's how:
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2528069
It goes onto two pages the second has a video and variation of the method.

Well, the latest release of trapcode particular (4) has fluid dynamics so you're probably right. I don't have it so I can't test it.

I will say, the new fluid stuff in the latest version of Particular is a ton of fun to play with!

What's wierd is that his oldest video dates from 2016 and he has the same effects, I don't think Trapcode fluid dynamics was available back then

He's not using After Effects at all to do it. The Adobe forum thread talks about the software he is using. We're just talking about ways you could do similar things in AE. :)

[Jayson O'Connor] "What's wierd is that his oldest video dates from 2016 and he has the same effects, I don't think Trapcode fluid dynamics was available back then"

That is a correct assumption. I was mistaken. So either a more robust particle system (ones in 3d applications). Or a custom thing he did and he wants to keep his secrets.

The good thing is you can come up with something similar but still original then.
