Essential Graphics IN After Effects
on Jan 13, 2019 at 3:05:29 pm

Hi y'all cows!

I've been diving into the Essential graphic panels in AE. I can manage to make the templates and link all the needed expressions; that part is all pretty easy and straight forward.

The thing I just can't figure out, is there a way to re-use these templates in AE? To me, it seems that these are really just designed to be used in Premiere after creation, not in AE?

I would love to be able to reuse many of my assets (lower thirds, etc..) but from within AE, not Premiere Pro.
Does anyone know a good way to do this, if it's even possible at all?

Thanks!

Wick.

That's right! They're for PP.

I do not understand. What does the essential graphics layout have to do with understanding templates? And to re use a piece you just copy and paste or import it into another project....i must be missing something.
