I'm running into some problems regarding vector scaling in After effects.
I'm working with some very finnicky small shapes that form a bigger picture when the camera zoom's out. But the problem is that these small shapes are very low resolution because my Precomp size is 1920-1080.
Resizing doesn't work since I need the right position for the camera outside of the pre-composition.
So how do I either: Add more pixels to my precomposition without having to rescale the objects inside of it/Using a vector friendly editing mode instead of pixels altogether?
What you want is a vector layer instead of a bitmap layer. Then you can turn on continuous rasterize (the "sun" icon) on the precomp and the vectors will be sharp at any scale and camera distance. The workability of this depends to a degree on whether this will affect the camera view or not, since the same button controls Collapse transformations state, i.e. it will use the main comp camera for your precomp as well.
