Audio problem in After Effects
on Jun 22, 2018 at 5:24:57 pm

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen

I have on problem which is related to audio settings maybe.
I imported .mp3 file into my project and insert it to the timeline. I pressed Space button to play and watch preview...there is a problem with sound quality.
It's kinda sound is broken down each 2 -3 frames and so on again until the end.
Though separately this music file sounds good via all the media players. I supposed the problem of quick player, but I've checked there as well and the quality is as the same as on other media players.

So, do you know what is the problem and how solve it as soon as possible :(

Is you spacebar set to preview or to caching then preview?

There is a difference between trying to do realtime preview and caching, then playing from ram. Which here is the numpad 0 key.

There are many kinds of mp3 audio compression, and After Effects has problems with some of them.

It is always best to convert compressed audio to lossless wav or aiff files.
