I've been breaking my head over this. I'm going to show you what I need to accomplish with this YouTube video:
Basically what I’m trying to accomplish is, when an object dissapaears from one edge of the work area, reappears on the opposite edge, just like the one in the video. An example would be something like Pac-Man, or the first Mario Bros game, in which characters leave on one edge of the TV to reappear on the opposite edge.
How can I accomplish this? Is there any expression for this, or a plugin?
I’ve been using Motion Tile or Offset to move the whole animation like a ticker, and it works well for that, but for individual objects like the ones bouncing on the video I can’t find a way for it.
Essentially you need three additional copies of any layer that is crossing over the edges, with the same animation, offset from the original by the height and width of the comp in such a way that they fill in the opposite side when something goes out of frame at the other side. (One copy will suffice for any objects which are not crossing the corners.)
