Noise after rendering in After Effects (Problem)
on Jun 9, 2018 at 3:50:34 pm

Hi there!

I have a problem. As seen underneath I have this noise in my movie file (black and white flickerings):

I work with TVPaint, which is for doing animation. I rendered it in "Animation" compression, had to convert it through Quicktime (after Conversion it says it's Apple ProRes 4444 compressed), afterwards put it in After Effects, where the noise began to appear in the RAM-Preview (even in 'Full' preview). The original rendering .mov from TVPaint is without noise. The noise begins to show up as soon as it is in AE.

There could be already a post in a forum, addressing this issue, but I don't know how to call this problem, since it's not an applied render noise. I have worked without 3D layers. Maybe you can help me fix this problem? I'd be really thankful!

Kind regards
Michael

Sorry, but I don't see any noise. If this were traditional cel animation, I see errors made from cel to cel.

Are you talking about the little speckles that appear? They look like dust particles on film as opposed to noise though.
