Is it possible to make wiggle effect stronger or weaker depending on music playing at the moment? It should be simple, I remember doing similar in Cinema4D, but I am newbie to AAE.

It's possible.
You could try convert audio to keyframes.
Make a slider control connected to a wiggle effect, and connect the slider to the new layer created with the ''convert audio to keyframes''.

The exact details you would have to look up ( how to connect a wiggle to a slider control for example ).
Because I could not tell you step by step out of my head.
But its possible.

You can also use the TrapCode plug in Sound Keys that splits the music into frequency channels of your choosing and then link the wiggle magnatude parameter to the output of Soundkeys.

As for altering the wiggle - its pretty simple - just apply an expression to your attribute you want to wiggle and add a wiggle expression (either from the expression list or type:
wiggle(put a number here for how many times a second you want to wiggle, pick whip the attribute of the sound keyframes to determine the intensity/magnitude of the wiggle);

So it would end up looking like:
wiggle(10,thisComp.layer("yourSoundLayer").intensityattribute);
