Seeing a motion path for a Vertex
on Mar 1, 2018 at 2:08:27 am

Hi,

Is there a way to view and manipulate a motion path for a path vertex?

When I change the position of an entire shape, I can edit its movement path by changing the dotted line, like the one here:

But, when it comes to moving individual points on a vector, there seems to be no way to see or manipulate them. Imagine that I'm trying to animate a point or vertex here, along a specific shape:

Is there a way to see the motion path for a vertex?

Thanks!

You can't, by default. You can of course link each vertex to a Null using CC2018s new feature, Nulls from Path.
You should download this 'extended', 3rd party version which provides handles for each vertex, for each Null's position.
Here's the video and the download link -
