Keyframe multiple layers of text.
on Jan 26, 2018 at 9:00:12 pm

Hi:

Looking to slide in 6 layers of bullet point text on to the canvas at different times. Is there a way to do this via expression instead of going into each layer and setting an start and end position for each layer of text? Remember the text is simply stacked on top of each other as bullet points (like a typical Power Point Presentation) and coming in a different times.

Thanks.

It's no big deal to keyframe it -- you only have to make ONE set of keyframes: where it's off-screen and the ending position.

Copy-paste the keyframes to the others, and then just highlight the keyframes and move the layers vertically. You have to have the timeline cursor on one of a layer's keyframes for this trick to work.

Or you can wait around for someone to whip up an appropriate expression, I guess.......
