 | AE + Mocha import of Phantom 4Pro Drone seems to crash again...
on Jan 24, 2018 at 11:06:31 am |
Hi
I have read the previous posts on solving the issue of crash while importing .mov files in Mocha.
The unsupported format message is again there with some footage I just acquired from a Phantom4Pro.
I tried with some previous MavicPro footage and do not have the issue.
Do you know if there are some limitations or some formats/compressions that Mocha does not handle ?
When I start from AE menu with Track with AE Mocha, the mocha is started but the footage name is not displayed with this footage, while when working correctly, this file name is displayed and you may see the image to start the tracking.
THx for your possible help on this topic.

You may want to transcode files that Mocha AE does not support to a more common format such as tif or jpeg sequences. This tech note might help.

Please note that Mocha Pro is available as a plug-in for Adobe and uses the Adobe media engine. This means that any clip that is supported within Adobe AE or Premiere, will open into the Mocha Pro interface without the need to transcode.
