SUB: Opening a sequence of tif (PSD Layers) files in photoshop or after effects?

1. rendered a multipass tif (PSD layers) seq.
2. wanted to import the sequence either in photoshop or in after effects (keeping all my layers( passes)) -
3. doesn't seem to work when i import the sequence.

anyone knows any workaround (i know i can render other formats) or tips to make this work.

please feel free to ask any question in case i was not very clear in explaining.

thanks in advance cows ☺

Sorry, it won't, either.
If keeping all your layers is the priority, you're limited to importing each image as a comp. If you want image sequences, the images must be flattened.

Instead of rendering the multiple passes to a single, multi-layer Photoshop image sequence, render each pass to its own, separate image sequence. You can then import each pass as a separate image sequence and composite them together.

hi walter

thanks for your reply...i knew that way infact that was my backup!... I was just curious if there is a way to make the multilayer tif (PSD layers) work in a timeline, i like the ease of handling vis-a-vis exers.

thanks
