I'm trying to do a simple animation with a precomped logo spinning on its Y axis. I wanted a subtle shadow on the wall behind it. The point light is set just in front of my camera with the wall behind the logo precomp. The shadow looks great till I start spinning the logo, at which point it rotates with the precomp. It is driving me nuts. I've tried using a spot light which generates the same issue. Strangely when I use a parallel light updates correctly but doesn't have the look I'm going for.
I've tried both Classic and Cinema renderers. I know it has to be something stupid I've overlooked, but I've been trying to figure this out for a day now and could really use some help.
