Low resolution problem with Red Giant Mir (Trapcode)
on Mar 7, 2017 at 7:16:13 am

Hello, I'm having a problem with Mir that when I throw it in the comp as shown in tutorials it appears very low resolution even though I crank up everything to full. I also try to render the project yet still the mov outcome is still in very low resolution.

I have tried it in both CC2017 and CC2014 on two separate computers. One is a 2016 iMac and the other is a 2010 Macbook Pro. On iMac whenever I open AE I get an error about ray tracing, can it be the cause, I mean related to GPU?

Here is how the Mir looks by the way.

Does anyone has any ideas? Thank you very much.

You have the comp window magnification cranked up to 800%! ANYTHING is going to look horrible.

Set it to 100% and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply.

I found the solution that whence the Mir is loaded it was way too back in XYZ dimension, when I brought it forwards it was okay. It was still a mess in %100 comp, that was the clue :)
