Flash frames used as a transition
on Feb 7, 2017 at 2:19:18 am

Hey all,

I want to do a video transition using multiple frames of a footage. Sorry for my lack of technical vocabulary but here is an example. The transition is at the 0:49-0:50 mark. It seems to me that what he did was take a couple of frames from different points of the same footage, combine them into a short 0.5 second video. Is this how he does it? Thanks in advance!

Looks like it.

There's some good art direction in here, too -- the frames in that transition are all similarly colored, close-up, soft, textured shots.
