Page turn for graphic novel
on Jan 14, 2017 at 8:40:02 pm

CS6. Seeking to make a graphic novel with occasional animation on a particular page. What I need is an on-demand page turn after any animation and the page has been read by the reader. Some icon on the right lower corner of the screen which when mouse clicked will move to the next page. This implies stopping the time line, and then starting it again on the new page (comp). Am I asking to much? Thanks.

[Richard Tkachuck] "Am I asking to much?"

Yup -- there's nothing in AE even remotely interactive. It just makes bitmap animations.

You'd have to create separate animations for the page turns, and you'd have to use some other application that could control them. Forwards and backwards. And freeze on the first or last frame of the animation, depending on whether the user is paging forwards or backwards.

It doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me.
