I'm completely stumped. When I render my animation there are parts of the frame that are flashing. It is only effecting the layers that are utilizing a light in the composition. If I turn the light off, the flashing goes away. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. I'm including a short clip of the problem along with a bunch of my settings. I'm working in AE 2015.3 Version 220.127.116.11 on a MacPro (Late 2013) 6 core with 32 GB RAM.
I figured this out. I have 57 layers in the composition and many of them had the same Z position. I think AE was getting confused as to wear to cast the shadows from the light. I went through the doc and made sure to separate the layers by 2 or more pixels and the flashing stopped.
