iMac late 2013 and AF 2015 vs 2017

Hello folks,

I am a noobie in AF and have a iMac late 2013 with i5 and nvidia 755 2gb video.
So, is this machine OK for a new AF 2017? Because as a read on forums, there is no gpu support in new version on my mac.

It will be too slow? Did i need to get AF 2014/2015 and what is exact diference between versions for neebie as me?

Thanks :)

Personally, I would go with CC 2014. It has the fewest number of bugs in it. And you won't miss the features on the newer versions -- you'll be too busy learning After Effects to notice!

Besides, a lot of the new features in the newer versions have issues with them. That's the polite way of putting it.
