Hi,

I got a PDF with several pages that includes alpha channels.
I need to convert them to PNG with alphas to import in AE. Any idea?

Best,
Stig

You can open PDFs in Photoshop.

open the PDF in Photoshop, and export a PNG with Alpha. or use a layered psd and import to Ae.

Illustrator works, too. Plus it's easy to arrange all those strokes and paths revealed in Illustrator into discrete layers, which makes animating items on a PDF page a lot easier.

The drawback: you can only do one PDF page per Illustrator document. I don't find it so difficult to deal with.

If you have CC then you'll also have Adobe Acrobat.
