h.264 frame size constraints
on Sep 21, 2016 at 2:20:29 pm

So here's the issue I'm facing...

I have an AE animation at 9600x1080 rendered out at Pro Res 422. The reason the file is 9600x1080 is we're playing the animation back across 5 screens. The client is playing back from a pc. The goal was is to convert this 9600x1080 ProRes file to a more pc compatible codec. When converting to h.264, looks like there's a size constraint to a width of 4096.

Is there a unconstrained codec that will allow me to convert from the 9600x1080 ProRes that will be compatible playing back from a pc.

Thanks for the help!

5-screen, 9600x1080 playback requires one of several playback systems. Each have their own workflows. You need to get more information about the requirements of the playback system you are using.
