Hello.
I have a rather simple question.
How can i move each vertex of a shape layer's path individually?
I refuse to think that this is impossible; i cannot animate shapes efficiently with only a keyframmed value which dictates the full shape.
I'd like to do something similar to what this plugin does:

http://aescripts.com/bao-mask-avenger/

I'm saving money for that plugin, but i need to solve this issue for an upcoming project.
I don't care if i have to use weird expressions or techniques, as long as you explain me how to do everything.

Thank you very much.

I need to be able to keyframe the vertices separately.
The guide you showed me doesn't explain that.

That is because After Effects has never been able to keyframe individual mask vertices witout the aid of plugins. My advice is to suck it up and work with mask path keyframes.
