Selecting the same effect on Multiple Layers
on Feb 9, 2015 at 3:34:57 pm

Hey, I'm kind of at a stand still with my project right now,partly because I'm lazy, but partly because I feel there HAS to be a better way to do this. Here's the issue;

-I have a Precomp with over 30 different layers (Each layer is supposed to be a bolt of lightning)
-Each layer has a "Stroke" effect applied to it
-My supervisor for the project told me that the lightning bolts were too thick
-So I need to select all of the 30 different layers and change the "Brush Size" property to a smaller value.
-I also have another precomp with 30 more different Bolt layers which must be resized as well.
-I would just scale the precomp to 50% or so, but I would also lose length of the bolts.
-I would just create a new "Stroke" effect and paste it on all the layers, but each layers "brush size" property differs by up to 2 points (this is to create variety). Thus each layers brush size needs to be different.

How do I select, and change, the same effect property on multiple layers at the same time? (besides using shift to select each one separately)
