Best Filters for going B&W on DSLR Footage? (Mixed Canon 5D and 7D Footage)

Looking for thoughts on different types of filter houses or processes to look into.

I got the Red Giant Magic Bullet Suite, so any tips in that families roster would be great.

Why don't you use AE's Black & White effect? Seems like a no-brainer to me.....

if you shoot a chip chart on each camera, then match them in post, the strength of the colors will be the same when they turn grey and then easier for ae's new b/w effect to do its magic, like Dave recommends.
