Recently I found out that Bauhausstudio, makers of Mirage animation software, has died, and on their grave someone build a casino.
It was some very useful drawing feature in this software, that I cannot find in no other compositing program.
I did this video using Mirage: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-video-8280311-still-life-with-fresh-fruits...
You can just paint on underlying layer, and record your strokes. There was plenty of painting styles, to simulate live painting.
I'm really missing this feature, do you know where one can find similar?
I know Fractal Design Painter had the same feature, and they are now owned by Corel, and Painter 11 seems to be the most recent version. You could record strokes, and the natural brushes in Painter were always way ahead of Photoshop's brushes.
