Trying to figure out a simple idea when enabling Proxies in After Effects.
I have successfully rendered out a Quicktime movie file as a proxy in the Project panel, however, when I enable the proxy for use in my Timeline, the proxy is set as a still image.
My Output Module Settings are set to Quicktime Format, with the post-render action as Set Proxy.
My Format Options are set to H.264. Proxy successfully renders out as a .mov file on my drive and plays as a video, yet when in After Effects, displays as a still image when enable as a proxy.
Not sure if this is an After Effects bug, or if there is an option within After Effects to enable a proxy as a video on the project timeline. I've tried a couple of different formats (Quicktime, AVI) and neither are playing in my timeline.
