feathered matte in Ae looks differnt in Pr

Hello, beginner question here

I am working with Pr and Ae. I have used dynamic link to be able to do a feathered matte with a pen tool in Ae. When I do the matte, all is Well In Ae, then I go back to Pr, there are some problems. The matte isn't where it's supposed to be. Below is a graphic representation of the problem. We're looking at the same frame.

Adobe Master Collection CS5

I'm an FCP/AE guy, so I don't have much practical experience with Dynamic Link.
But from what I understand, you can't round-trip as you can between FCP and Motion.

Here's a good tutorial by Andrew Devis on the topic:

And you really should check out Andrew's other tutorials, too.

Heres the tutorial for Pr Dynamic Link workflow:

If I get it right, as long as the changes made in Ae are visible in Pr the dynamic link works and I did everything right. The changes are visible, but when I animate the matte there is some strange vertical offset, even though the frame size and position has not been changed. I wonder if this is an error of some sort, or am I missing something.

Can I somehow change the thread name to “animated matte” - it will be more accurate?

To be locked or deleted, found a reason why this is happening. To keep things simple, and not to confuse anyone, I feel like there's a need for a new thread.
