Rectangle frame in Top View?
on Jun 5, 2012 at 10:11:16 pm

Another Newbie question. In active camera I understand the rectangle to be the viewing area. In 3d space, however, in a "top" view, I also see a rectangle. Often my camera is outside this area and so are the objects it's looking at. Can anyone tell me what this rectangle is and it's significance?

Lots of rectangles appear in the different viewers. Do a screen cap and include the timeline as part of the screen cap.

I found a tutorial online that referred to this square as the "Paste-board," and gave some tips on how to adjust top or side views so all the elements can be seen within it.
