Lengthening comps in a template
on Feb 17, 2011 at 11:31:02 pm

been working on a project in which I need to lengthen some comps within comps, My second one is lengthier than the on in the template so when I lengthen it I get a slow motion stretch and slow speech... any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

How long have you been using After Effects?

If you say "not very long", you should know that it is a very complicated program, and you need to know the basics. It's almost impossible to get anything done, even with the help of a template you bought, if you don't have some knowledge of AE basics.

This is an excellent place to get that knowledge:

Can you create a new pre-comp from the layers inside the comp you're trying to lengthen, and extend those layers? Or just extend the layers in the first place?

I don't really understand the problem you're having because I've got no reference to the "template" you speak of. So this may be no help at all.

I hope you figure it out.
