I am exporting a 1080i footage from adobe after effects and the difference between the rendered can be obiviously seen when placed in the same composition. the rendered file has blurriness , or in other words its not as sharp as it was or is showing up in after effects project. Which settings will not change the quality of what i see in edit

You'll want to make sure your interlacing settings are correct (both on the interpret footage and in the render queue. What "correct" is, varies depending on source footage and final output.

Do you have 3d layers with motion blur enabled? By default AE does not preview motion blur you have to turn it on. It's in the upper right hand corner of your composition window. The button looks like 4 lines with an arrow next to it.

Are you enabling Frame rendering frame the render Q? The default is progressive.

I meant to say : Are you enabling frame rendering "in" the render Q?

It all depends which codec you are rendering to. Your post lacks a lot of details.

Take a screenshot of your output module
