easeOut expression
on Apr 29, 2016 at 6:41:01 pm

I'm using this expression that I found in the forum to animate an X position from A to B. B being a dynamic value that can change depending on the input of "TextValue".

max = thisComp.layer("TextValue").text.sourceText.value;
min = 0;
t1 = key(1).time;
t2 = key(2).time
if (time<=t1) min;
else if (time>t1 && time else max;

Now I would like to edit the easeOut, ideally to be as steep as this graph:

Is there any way to edit the actual curve in this example?

You can do this mathematically if you write a function that describes that curve, but personally, I like to approach this by building the curve in Ae on a property on a null layer, then using expressions elsewhere to reference the values on that curve.
