PNG Sequence or another option?
on Mar 24, 2016 at 6:43:23 pm

Hi Guys,

I will be shooting a product video on a green screen. The product is a 3d printer. What we are hoping to do is to shoot on a green screen, turn into a png sequence, saperate the movable parts from the base so we have full control over the background of the shoot, the movement of the parts and placing prints in the printer.

Is there a better way to do this as selecting and separating the parts that will be 30 frames per second seems very tedious.

It sounds like it wouldn't be too difficult to separate the moving parts from the rest of the machine -- you'd use a mask to do it.

Perhaps we don't know enough details about this shot to properly address your concerns.
