After Effects move all Mask Path Keyframe-Positions at once?
on Feb 10, 2016 at 12:33:20 am

Hey Guys!

I just wondering if it´s not ppossible to select all keyframes in a mask shape (rotoscope) at once and move their position on the image while keeping the exact relations of their animations.
The big problem is that I rotoscoped on a blank solid while I hided itself. Now after trillions of keyframes been set I found out that me idiot did not set the size of the solid to comp-size! D A M N I T ! No the complete position of the roto mask is set wrong (outside the solid border) and when I try the same like you do on a position keyframes ani to move all together (select all keyframes, cursor over one of them and simply move all together) the mask path jumps from one key to another.

Any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks a lot!
Cheers
Chris

What happens if you increase the size of the solid?

...or is that what you already did and now the masks are still going over two edges?

You could use the pan-behind tool [link] to slide the solid around within the mask, then move the solid layer itself to reposition it and the mask in the frame.
