AE displays font differently than intended?
on Nov 9, 2015 at 1:00:42 am

I downloaded the font, "Castro Script" and intended to use in After Effects. However, it looks much different in After Effects than it looks in Illustrator. I've attached a photo of what I'm seeing in AE. The top text is an illustrator file imported into AE, the bottom text is a text layer written in AE.

Why is this happening?

Hi Jessie

It is because you don't type with the Castro Script font
Try to delete the text layer and retype your text, not copy-paste

Your text should look like the first line

I was typing with that font.
What I realized later is that I had the option "All Caps" on, which was distorting my font.
Thank you for your response though!
