Hi guys

I have a 4 squares i would like to orbit around a circle.
It seems so simple but I can't figure it out. How can I do that without rotating the squares individually?

You'll want to use an expression. Here is a previous post on the subject.

And just to show you there's usually more than one way to skin a cat in AE, here's another version. This is all-2D and done in a square-pixel comp, incidentally:
• Make a null object, and place it at the exact center of the comp if it isn't already there.
• Make a square -- mask a solid, use a shape layer, whatever. Position it below the null's position as far away as you want it. Let's call it Square One.
• Duplicate Square One to make Square Two. Parent Square One to the null and rotate the null 90 degrees.
• Duplicate Square Two to make Square Three. Parent Square Two to the null and rotate the null another 90 degrees.
• Duplicate Square Three to make Square Four. Parent Square Three to the null and rotate the null 90 degrees again.
• Parent Square Four to the null. You're done.

Now when you rotate the null, all the squares move in a circle.
