Arabic text (not the usual question!!!)
on Aug 27, 2015 at 9:47:04 am

Hey folks I have a question about arabic text.

So I was using the arabic text script which works perfectly.... or so it would seem. The text comes out all the right way etc. However the spacing has been picked up on that it's wrong....

So my question is this is there a font which is good to use for arabic (I am using Adobe Arabic) also is there a set kerning value which is to be used as well.... at the moment -20 seems to be about right. However I am flying blind a bit here. I have sent screen grabs off to the translator but in the mean time I would really appreciate any help from you folks if you have any experience in this and have some tips or rules which need to be adhered to regarding specific fonts and kerning values.

I can't manipulate each space it has to be a value across the whole word or sentence as I have hundreds and hundreds of lines of text to change....

Thanks for any help,

The last true family man
