Is there an "Arrow" plugin or template for AE?
on Jul 28, 2015 at 2:00:49 pm

I've got a ton of AE map work to do where I have to have various arrows going all over the place. In the past, I've created a few straight arrow assets that I use over and over, but I'm seeing a lot of AE work on Youtube where people have multiple animated curved arrows going which look really nice.

My thought was, are all these people creating these nice animated curved arrows from scratch? Or could there be an arrow template/plugin I don't know about? I do SO many graphics containing arrows (clients love 'em some arrows) that I thought something like that might exist (or at least should!).

Should have requested Arrow SCRIPTS instead of templates. Arrow templates are kind of useless. Anyway, a few pages down in a Google search revealed this nice script.

Haven't bought it yet, but it looks promising!

I purchased this script a couple of months ago, and it really makes arrow work simple; plus, it goes far beyond arrows, since you can make custom arrow "heads" which don't even have to look like arrows.

Well worth the price of admission.

There is an Arrow Preset for after effects that is really easy to use and would save you a lot of time:

there is also a arrow tutorial in that page
cheers!
