 | Text getting cut off when rotating X and Y

I'm trying to make this text (3d object) rotate on the X axis but pieces of it are getting cut off.
Any idea what might cause it?

Try moving it forward on the Z axis. It's getting cut off because you have it intersecting with the layer beneath it.

Not sure what you mean, but I've tried copying the layers onto a new composition and it doesn't seem to be conflicting with anything as of now.

When they were in the original composition, your background layer(solid with a ramp) was in the same 3D space as your letters. Joseph was suggesting moving the background farther back along the Z axis so the it wouldn't cut off the letters. Use the custom view settings(under the comp window) and you will get a better idea of what is happening.
