What formatting settings are the best for exporting an animation to Instagram?

What formatting settings are the best for exporting an animation to Instagram? I want it to be high quality, but each time I render and export it, it comes out pixelated. Also I don't know if it's Instagram or Google drive but each time I go to upload the animation to Instagram it just says "processing". I've tried uploading both MP4 files and MOV. Does it not accept those files or are they too big?

Another thing that would be great if someone could answer is how come when I play the video in RAM preview the animation looks sharp, but when I'm just editing it's pixelated? I have continuous rasterize checked for all the layers.

Here's a link to the animation, I put it on Youtube for the time being:

Hi Moni,

From a quick google it appears Instagram should work fine with the H.264 codec.
So, go with the Quicktime format in the AE output module settings and in the format options choose H.264 with quality 100% for best results.

Note: Using Adobe Media encoder gives more control for rendering to H.264. You can get lower files sizes for the same quality even with its default 2 pass encoding options.

For the pixilation problem, check your settings for “fast previews” the little lightening button at the bottom of the composition window.
