thanks todd... for myself this is the most exciting addition since multiprocessing. my c4d skills are sadly out of date (r7), but i am excited about bring c4d back into my workflow.

when is the next version of after effects due out? (i know the last several have launched around april)

Kevin, I feel the same way. To prepare for its release I got the free demo of the Studio version of C4D which is fully functional for 43 days. After that it just doesnt save.

In addition Im hip deep in a wonderful tutorial series at Lynda.com by Rob Garrett. After a week of intensive learning Im beginning to feel comfortable with the program.

Backtrack to get to Chapter 1 if you want to check it out.If you decide to get it, be sure to pay for the version that include the work files so you can follow along.
