a bunch of illustrator layers in 3d which will not accept light and shadows, cast shadows > on
a animated camera
a background which accept shadows.
I need a logo to be constantly in the image.
So i imported the logo as a psd file ( cause i need the alpha ),
place it, and leave it as a 2d layer, so it will stay in its place when the camera will be animated
Now this is what happens, when i make the psd layer visible, it influences the shadows of the 3d layers.
Why is this?
I can not figure out why this is happening..
You can't place a 2D layer among other 3D layers. As you have seen, strange things happen.
You may want to prerender the 3D layers currently above the 2D layer as the foreground, then prerender the the 3D layers below the 2D layer as the background. Then create a new comp with three layers: foreground, logo and background.
