Is there a way to generate an area by connecting points?
I have got 3 lights and I want to connect them and use the resulting shape as a mask.
So I need a filter that connect points and fill the area at least.
As far as I know, there is no way to connect mask points with something by expressions, right?
You can use the Beam effect to create a line to connect two points. Use the following Expression example to connect the Beam's 2D points to the light layer's 3D position property -
LightLayer01 = thisComp.layer("Light1");
Once you have 3 Beam layers linking all three lights, you can fill in the area defined by the 3 Beams with another layer, an Adjustment Layer, and apply the Paint Bucket effect on the Adjustment Layer.
Precomp or nest this comp and use the result as your mask.
