Color Profile h.264
on May 31, 2011 at 5:59:04 am

I am working on a stop motion video and had images edited in color mode sRGB in photoshop. When imported into after effects i kept the color profile as sRGB. When i went to publish, i checked my project settings and made sure they matched the output module color management settings. I published in h.264, and suddenly my color were ridiculously saturated and blown out and looked nothing like the original after effects file. Does anyone have any idea how to avoid this problem? I have attempted to publish in quicktime with no compression and put through media encoder for h.264 and it looks closer but still not quite right (saturation is still to high and slightly blown out).

What version of AE are you using? It makes a difference.
There have been tons of threads on h.264. Try a forum search. There were a few solutions depending on what was causing your problem.
