Cleaning my 3700 after shooting on the beach
on Nov 18, 2010 at 3:12:32 pm

Hi, we've been shooting some scenes in a oceanic beach and I've cleaned my camera as always did with all my cameras, but I'm a little concerned about that because I think that this one breathes a lot, and I don't know how that salty air can affect the internal components.
Some advises?

I'd leave the camera in a very dry place out of its case for a day. But as long as it didn't get immersed in water I don't see it being a big issue.

With none of the moving parts used by tape or disc-based cameras, the VariCam 3700 is ultra reliable with resistance to shock, vibration, extreme environments and weather conditions. The camera's solid-state design means no worrying about overheating, condensation or freezing, only reliable performance when you need it. I think you got no worries my friend. Love mine that's for sure!!!
