I took every lens I own with me to Balboa Park in San Diego to see how the camera worked in low light. I couldn't be happier. Its really a great camera for the price and really fun to shoot with.

Looks lovely- you should maybe consider a version where you call out on screen the lens used on each shot so people see what is really possible.

I was thinking about doing that to this version and decided not to. I like the idea of having two versions. Thanks for your kind words!

Absolutely beautiful! Breathtaking in fact. Thanks for easing me peacefully into the weekend Erik. Has anyone seen a demo that shows fast action both within the scene as well as using fast camera movements, (pans, dollies, jibs and ***handheld), with the AF-100? Most of these demos tend to show slow elegant stuff. This happens to be one of the best I've seen in terms of showing off that side of the camera.

Thanks Mark and Rafael! You guys made my day!
Here is a spot I did this week all with the AF-100. Couple of fast pans and a timelapse to boot!

I'd also like to know about the lenses you used, if you have time to post that. Are you happy with the sharpness you're getting out of the camera? It's always hard for me to judge that from Vimeo playback.

Vimeo is very compressed but its the best we have that I know of.
The image is incredible! As sharp as I want it, and the blacks are so clean they blow me away. I think it has a lot to do with the lenses as well and that brings me to your other question about what lenses I used in the video. I was swapping out a lot for each shot and I will go back figure that out. I can say that the Lumix 20mm was used for all the wide shots and the Canon 70-200 f4 shots of girl on bridge and flower in pond. The shot with the flowers in the foreground and the pond was a Nikon 50mm. More to come.
