ExpressCard to Cardbus adapter for P2 & MBP & windows laptops

Now that Duel is gone,
is there any ExpressCard to Cardbus adapters in that Addonics price range (about $50) that works also with Snow Leopard?

Please answer fast if possible, I'll have to get something tomorrow and I hate to buy anything "windows only"!

If nobody's replying I might just try this:

Windows ONLY!!! No support for Snow Leopard. Never will be.

Panasonic AJ-PCD2 is your least expensive alternative singe card reader via USB.

From Lycom's product page: "Truly hardware bridge board, supported by Windows and Mac built-in Cardbus driver"

I'm not going to pay for those overpriced card readers. It would be cheaper to buy used laptop with pc-card reader. I'm thinking about ditching the whole P2 format...

Did you read all the information?

"Panasonic P2 Windows storage software driver works with this board, but Panasonic Mac driver does NOT"

It's your money do what you want with it. I made the investment because time is money for me.

Good luck with the Long GOP format!

[Steve Eisen] ""Panasonic P2 Windows storage software driver works with this board, but Panasonic Mac driver does NOT""
Do I need Panasonic Mac driver just for copying the files?
I've been under impression that is not needed.

You need it to read the P2 card.

Hmmm, maybe then I should buy some old small laptop for the same price than AJ-PCD2...

Go for it. You'll wind up paying more in the long run. As I said earlier, it's your money.

Use bootcamp and put windows on your macbook.
Download files using any of the above adapters.
Reboot, edit.
Pretty simple, cost = 1 copy of windows.

Good idea,
would it also work with VMWare's Fusion or with Parallel?
