P2 e-series cards vs Focus Enhancements Firestore hard drive

Hi,
I'm trying to find a storage solution when shooting with the HVX200. I could either get one of the P2
e-series cards (32Gb) or put down a little bit more money and get the Firestore hard drive.
What do you guys recommend? I always have my laptop on location in order to transfer and empty the cards to make more space available to keep shooting.
Is the Firestore drive reliable? Have you found any problems working with it?

Thanks

I'm with Jeremy. Stick with P2 cards. They'll even last longer in the long run.

If you were considering the Firestore, why don't you get the 64gb card?

If you have noticed, the Firestore did drop drastically in price. Now $999.00 for 160gb model.

P2 are far more versital, if you are handholding the FIrestore the format has some real short comings. Power for one, the 3 hour rated battery last for about 90 minutes, the standard battery about 45 minutes. so it is another thing to have extra batteries for and the cable is less than idea for a camera on a go. If the 32 GB cards work go with them.

Definitely cards. The Firestore has always had a spotty track record- great for some nothing but trouble for others. P2 is much closer to bullet proof.
