Jumps on tilts

I am definitely new to the HVX200 world--I have noticed something in footage I just shot (720/60P). On a few tilts, it seems as though the image drops a frame and jumps. I am editing in AVID, so I thought maybe the problem was there, but when I checked the initial file that I transfered in HD Log it appears to have the same issue.

Do I have a setting wrong on the camera? Or is there some sort of malfunction taking place?

Thank you

For the life of me I can't remeber the name of this feature, but on the 200 there's basically a digital stabilization option for the camera. I think it's mostly used to cut down on handheld shake although most people don't use it at all. If you have this option on, and your camera is on a tripod and you begin to pan, the stabilization will kick in trying to stabilze the pan and it results in the jumps that you see.

This situation might account for what you are seeing.

Optical Image Stabilization (or OIS). There should be a little hand icon if this is turned on.
