Every time I export video directly from Flash, it generates a temporary swf from which it then makes a Quicktime Movie (.mov file).
Unfortunately, it seems to be hard-wired to export using the Animation Codec (which, from my experience is unnecessarily GIGANTIC).
So, I'm hoping someone out there knows a way to assign a different codec than animation.
**** Before this conversation takes a left turn, I do NOT want to engage Adobe Media Encoder to make this happen. It's an extra step which I'm hoping to avoid completely by rendering directly into a more efficient codec. ****
My guess is that there may be a plist file somewhere or there may be something in the Application Support folder describing the Video Export process. But, I don't know where to begin.
